- About
me
-
My passion is to
bring people further on their journey. I facilitate learning and change
processes for people and organisations. 'Learning' and 'Change' are the
social phenomena that I have the greatest interest in. I love working
with tools that promote active participation, self-organisation and
responsibility.

of
Expertise & Professional Experience
-
I facilitate
change
processes in organisations
and communities. My approach is to care for the context, providing the
conditions and set-up the structure that is needed for people to focus
on their issues at heart and to enable them to build up their
aims and vision,
to work out and solve their problems and conflicts for a better
communication and cooperation. I often work with moderation methods
like open
space technology, world café, future search conference and
other innovative change tools that result in sustainable outcomes. As coach
I assist people in finding their professional way with questions about
their wishes and objectives, competences, skills and experiences,
interests and values in their work life. I also offer professional
coaching for groups with Life/Work-Planning
seminars.
As I have focused on
Central and Eastern
Europe (CEE) in my studies and worked for a research project at
university about the political, economic and social transition in CEE I
offer policy consulting
service for the evaluation of
projects as well as for capacity building
esp. trainings in social partnership
roles.
At the
university I give lectures
about sociology, political science, Central and Eastern European
transitions, scientific methods and techniques and offer coaching
in professional development for students and graduates.
In
the field of adult and youth education I organise
international trainings, seminars and projects in cooperation with my
partners. I train
people in personal development, communication and soft skills and run
workshops about time and stress management, techniques for
facilitating creativity and rhetorical skills like asking powerful
questions, interview technology and
better presentation.

Education
-
For my role
as facilitator, coach and consultant I have continuously
developed my education and professional skills with seminars
and trainings
on didactics, rhetoric, professional coaching and large group
intervening tools, esp. open space technology, world café,
future search conference, advanced meeting management, and further studies
about organisational development, personal development, communication,
cognitive foundations of learning (learning psychology) and group
dynamics.
I graduated from
Humboldt-University in Berlin, Germany and Université Robert
Schuman in Strasbourg, France with a Diploma
in Sociology and Political Sciences. In my studies I focused on
Organisation Science, Central and Eastern European Transitions, Systems
of Social Interests Representation and International Politics.
I'm currently a PhD Candidate
at the Europe-University Viadrina, Frankfurt/ Oder, Germany.

The
Policy Process of Enterprise Privatisation in Central and
Eastern Europe and Conditions of Policy Learning
ABSTRACT: The
aim of my dissertation is to analyse the policy process of enterprise
privatisation in Central and Eastern European countries, one of the big
reforms demanded by transition. In nearly all countries privatisation
has been finished so far, but has proceeded differently. A look back on
the privatisation process shows several shifts in policy-making and a
progression of country specific privatisation patterns. I elaborate on
how these patterns evolved. I focus especially on organisational and
institutional settings, on the choice of political actor's strategies
in decision-making, on the trigger mechanisms and conditions for
successful process-oriented adjustments in privatisation policy. The
method I use is QCA (Qualitative Comparative Analysis) from Charles
Ragin. This analysis attracts my special attention because of the
transitory nature of the policy field regarding the restriction by time
and objective, and – resulting from that – the
limited potential for policy learning.
- Interests
-
As an expert on Central and Eastern
Europe I'm highly involved with my organisation
JOE-Plattform Berlin e.V. (Association of Young Experts on Eastern
Europe) in Berlin, Germany. Our organisation has about 40 members which
are experts on Central and Eastern European issues in different fields.
I'm currently chairwoman and responsible for the coordination of
working groups and projects, event organisation, fundraising and for
the representation of our organisation. See more www.joe-plattform.de
